STELLANTIS INVESTS IN SOUTH AFRICA
Stellantis Africa Middle East confirms its intention to establish a state-of-the-art factory in Port Elizabeth by 2025.
The amount of the investment is estimated at 3 billion rand (150 million euros at the current exchange rate) and should make it possible to create 1,000 jobs, transfer a number of skills and more than 5,000 hours of training. Production capacities will be practically doubled, to reach 90,000 units per year and 22% of market share in the Africa Middle East region by 2030 ("Dare Forward" strategy).
This investment, very well received on the continent and beyond, demonstrates great confidence in the future of the country.
